NDP deputy leader visits Bruce A

Ontario NDP deputy leader Jagmeet Singh joined Society president Scott Travers, Bruce LVP Mike Gade and Bruce Power staff for a tour of the Bruce A nuclear facility. The tour was part of efforts by The Society and Bruce Power to educate legislators on the value of nuclear in Ontario.Jagmeet Singh Group

“I’m so pleased to have had Mr. Singh join us for an entire day of learning about the Bruce’s nuclear fleet,” said Travers. “The deputy leader had thoughtful questions that showed his sincere interest in the work our members do to power Ontario.”

Following the tour, Singh, who is also the MPP for the western Greater Toronto Area riding of Bramalea-Gore-Malton, joined the Bruce Power Local for a reception with Society members in Tiverton.
