BARGAINING UPDATE

LAO and the Bargaining Subcommittee met in August 2017 to present our bargaining agenda. We’ve spent many hours drafting proposals to present, as we began building this first collective bargaining agreement from scratch. Survey feedback and individual comments to ILC members have been very helpful in this process. Please keep those coming!

We met again with LAO in October and November and will be meeting in December and into the new year. We have presented a number of our proposals. Due to a lot of hard work, and good input from you, we now have over one hundred proposals to present. We continue to have our proposals reviewed by an equity consultant to ensure that our collective agreement does not entrench systemic discrimination.
